TVOS has 3 main events each year: the Annual Conference, Summer Fun Day, and the Wine Competition. Other, informal or small get-togethers, organized by any other TVOS members, are noted in the Newsletters. Click the links below for more information!
Every year, the TVOS President organizes the Annual Conference at a location of their discretion. Previous locations have included: Pigeon Forge, Nashville, Gatlinburg, and Kingsport Tennessee. The Annual Conference offers several informative and fun sessions appealing to the interests of TVOS’s membership, the Westcott Scholarship Auction fundraising event, and the Banquet during which the Award Ceremony occurs.
Every year, the TVOS Vice President organizes the Summer Fun Day at a location, typically a Tennessee winery or park, of their discretion. Previous locations have spanned the state of Tennessee. Summer Fun Day is typically a day of fun, food, and wine tasting.
TVOS holds an amateur wine competition open to all TVOS members in good standing as well as any other amateur winemakers for a nominally higher entry fee (we have had entries from as far away as Colorado!). The Wine Competition Coordinators organize the deadlines, volunteers, and judging locations at their discretion.
